What a nice story.
The soldier with Saul was my dad. Chris - Saul called him.
They were best buddies and according to Saul, my dad saved his life.
I still talk to Saul a few times a year.

That's Great! Yeah, I'm so happy that he got his due and was awarded the metal. Is your Dad still alive? My wife's grandfather was in the 1st and whenever I see him, we lock ourselves in a room for hours and we just talk about his experiences.
Amazing stories.
